What are snowflake yarns? What is OOAK?
Snowflake yarns are unique and may or may not ever be repeated again. They are yarns that I tried new colors on, or bases I tested to see if I wanted to add it to my regular lineup, yarns or dye colors that have been discontinued by my suppliers, or maybe they just didn't turn out the way I wanted them to. They are still first quality yarns and dyes, just not part of my regular offerings.
OOAK stands for One-Of-A-Kind. One-Of-A-Kind items (Or sometimes four, or six of a kind) are not repeatable. All of my fiber offerings are OOAK, and not often listed online since every braid would need it's own listing. Fiber will only show up here if there is a special offering.
In any case, on the Snowflake page, if you like it, buy it because there is only what is listed there! Make sure if there are multiples of something listed that you buy enough for the project you have in mind, because I can’t replicate it exactly, and may not be able to get the supplies to do it anymore.
What are your shipping policies?
When will I receive my order?
I typically ship within 3 business days of receiving full payment (usually twice a week, more often if I'm out for other things), unless the listing says "Dyed to Order". If the listing is marked "Dyed to Order", it will ship in 7 to 10 days to allow time for dyeing to occur. Orders are usually shipped USPS First Class mail with shipping or delivery confirmation, or Priority mail, depending on the size of the order. Orders over $50 will be insured.
Rush shipping may or may not be available depending on my schedule, I can not guarantee it. If you would like something rush shipped, please email me at email@example.com and I'll see what I can do. There will be additional fees for rush orders.
Note: I reuse shipping material. Your order may arrive in a previously used box or envelope, but will always be shipped safely to protect your investment.
Do you ship internationally?
No, I'm so sorry, I do not currently ship internationally. The costs are very high, often more than the price of the item being shipped. Also, there is no tracking once it leaves the US which makes it impossible to confirm delivery.
How much does it cost?
Please note that shipping prices are estimates. Shipping will be determined by actual weight and destination, or will be a priority flat rate, whichever is better depending on how large the order is and how I am able to package it.
When free shipping is offered.
PDF patterns are downloadable and there is no shipping charge. If free shipping is being offered as a promotion, you will have a coupon code to enter.
What is your returns policy?
All sales are final.
It's important to me to make and sell quality products, ship them safely, and have satisfied customers. I handle every skein and braid from start to finish and take care to ensure quality. I take time in giving detailed descriptions and show multiple photos to represent each item as clearly and accurately as possible to represent sizes, shapes, weights, colors, etc.
I make every effort to represent colors as true as possible in our photos. However, I am not a professional photographer, and every computer monitor is different, so please make allowances.
All products are packaged carefully and shipped in a timely manner with insurance (when necessary) and certificate of delivery, or shipping confirmation.

If you are in need of a sweater quantity (or more) of the same color, please don't hesitate to email me with a request at lynette@DragynKnyts.com. I charge a half down, non-refundable deposit upon ordering, with the remainder, plus shipping, due when its ready to ship. Payment must be completed before shipping and all sales are final.
Please note there will be some lead time to order the base if I don't have it, and to dye the yarn. I will be happy to give you a more specific quote for your order when you email me. You can assume between 2 and 4 weeks as a general guideline, but it could be less if I have base on hand, or more if its a large or complicated order.
I limit my wholesale accounts so as to provide the best service possible for my customers. Currently, DragynKnyts Fiber and Dyeworks is not accepting new retailers. Existing retailers can contact me by email at lynette@DragynKnyts.com for the latest wholesale price sheet and guidelines, or for any questions.
